    We are only able to offer clinical assessment and treatment for individuals who are resident in the UK.

    We are only able to offer clinical assessment and treatment for individuals who are resident and registered with a UK GP.
    Once you have registered with a GP, you are welcome to return to the site and submit a new enquiry.

    Dr L M Hayward Consultant Psychiatry Services is not an urgent or emergency mental health care provider. We suggest you seek immediate help and only proceed with a new patient enquiry when you no longer feel at immediate risk of acting on thoughts of self-harm or suicide.

    In the event of mental health emergency, if you or someone you care for is in a life-threatening situation or you feel at immediate risk of acting on thoughts of self-harm or suicide and cannot keep yourself safe, you are advised to access NHS out-of-hours/urgent care via GP/NHS Direct on 111/Crisis-teams.

    If needed, attend your local A&E. If you cannot get there safely call 999.

    If you are currently under the care of the crisis team, you are advised to make contact with them in the first instance.
